October is New Zealand Cheese Month.

That’s right! A whole month dedicated entirely to cheese, its magnificence, and all the flavour that comes with it.

Cheese lovers will have the opportunity to celebrate their beloved, pressed curds of milk with events across the entire country from October 1 to October 31.

Activities include cheese tasting, market days, cheese appreciation evenings, and festivals.

With dairy dominating a large part of New Zealand’s economy, and cheese exports on the rise as per statistics New Zealand, clearly this is the month Kiwis have been waiting for.
